Our mission is to rejuvenate and maintain the Brigham City Skatepark, transforming it into a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for all. We aim to educate the community on the park's features and foster a positive perception of skatepark culture by promoting unity, creativity, and respect. Through collaborative efforts, and community driven advocacy, we seek to ensure the park serves as a place of pride, recreation, and growth for kids, adults, and kids at heart within our community for years to come.
We intend to ensure that the park is adaptive for all action sports enthusiasts
We plan to bring adaptive, all ability lessons and camps in the near future.
We believe that all youth deserve a chance to progress in the sport that drives them. Many communities overlook skateboarding when it comes to sports, leaving them with subpar recreation facilities and a lack of local support. On any given day you can drive or walk past local parks and see a couple people playing basketball or soccer. A baseball diamond is only in use during practice or games, but visit a skatepark and 9 times out of 10 there is someone using that facility. You will find toddlers on strider bikes, youth on scooters, bikes, skateboards, wheelchairs. You'll even see adults and the occasional gray haired kid getting valuable mental, physical and emotional health benefits. Skateboarding has quickly climbed the ranks as an olympic sport, with over 41 million viewers daily at the Paris games. Skateparks are for everyone!
